Bought a Condo home in 2008 for approximately $300K in College Hill, Providence, RI. David was a great help to us in finding a condo for our daughter to live in during med school. He delved into our needs in great detail and provided expert guidance regarding locations, condo associations, quality of construction, and other critical factors. He thoroughly researched and identified appropriate properties, working around our schedule to find times when we could see them. His extensive knowledge of the market proved extremely valuable and saved us a significant amount of time and money. Since then, David has continued to provide valuable advice and assistance, including references to contractors and other professionals to help us rent out our unit. We were so impressed by his continuing efforts that we are currently working with him to locate another property in the Providence area

We had an offer after the first open house and then multiple offers on our former home. He negotiated our new home price skillfully, eventually getting to our preferred offer. I have bought and sold homes in a couple of states and therefore had experience with realtors over the years. I have NEVER seen a realtor go so above and beyond for their clients as David Abbott nor have the depth and breadth of knowledge he has. If you want to sell your home or are looking to buy and want to work with an agent you can trust you'll work with David. When we bought our house in Providence it was David who showed it to us when our realtor was put of town and we never forgot how honest, up-front and helpful he was. In the summer of 2016 a crooked contractor in Providence had taken my wife and I for our entire savings on a remodel job in our house. This left us out of our home and depending on the generosity of a friend letting us live with him in his loft apartment when my wife delivered our first baby in January 2017. I used my entire paternity leave trying to get us back into the home, working on the place and hiring subcontractors to finish the work the original contractor had promised. I finally got us back into the (mostly) finished home in the spring and we landed jobs across the country, meaning we would be selling the house. Time to call David! He discussed issues with the old house, planned and worked with us and connected us with honest people he knew who could do some of the finish work at fair prices. His advice was spot on and the finished product was beautiful and sold immediately for a fair price to another young couple who got a great home for the money. I implore you to listen to his advice and David will lead you in the right direction. If you value honesty, integrity, knowledge and hard work you'll enjoy working with David. Home buying and selling is very personal and being able to trust your realtor is priceless. If you don't value these things your choices for realtors are endless as are your opporutinites to be taken advantage of. I cannot recommend David highly enough.
