Providence, RI (October 28, 2008) – Petra Laurie, a real estate agent with Residential Properties Ltd. in East Greenwich, sold one of only seven homes in Rhode Island to sell for over $4 million in the year to date. The home was sold for $4.25 million and is located at 275 Beavertail Rd, in Jamestown.

Laurie, a 10-year real estate veteran, is known for selling listings in all price ranges, but is best known for selling high end listings.  In 2007, she sold the company's most expensive listing, a $3.87 million Jamestown home.

Laurie averages over $10 million in closed sales every year

Laurie is a lifelong Rhode Island resident who currently resides in Wickford and Jamestown.  She attended the University of South Carolina where she received a  B.A. in German and French, and a Minor in Business.  Married with 3 children, she is a past president & member of Historic Wickford, a member of the Kent Washington Board of Realtors, where she also served on its Awards Committee, and a member of the East Greenwich & North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce, the Dunes Club of Narragansett, and the Connaicut Yacht Club of Jamestown.
