Bio
Libby has worked for the company since 1989, when she began as an agent
associate. In 1995 she became Sales Manager of the Providence Office and
in 2007 she became Chief Operating Officer, a new position for Residential
Properties Ltd.
Libby serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Providence Board
of Realtors, where she is vice-chair of the Professional Standards and
Ethics committee and she also serves on the Professional Standards and
Ethics committee of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors. She frequently
chairs both Arbitration and Ethics hearings.
She serves on the Marker Committee of the Providence Preservation Committee.
She is a commissioner for the city of Providence on the Downcity Design
Review Committee. She is President emeritus of the Board of Directors
of the Sophia Academy, a small middle school in Providence for girls from
low-income Providence families.
Libby graduated from Brown University in 1980. She is a lifelong skier
and distance runner. Her races include the New York Marathon and the Mayor's
Midnight Sun Marathon in Anchorage, Alaska, which she ran for The Leukemia
Society. She ran the 2006 Boston Marathon on behalf of the Accelerated
Cure Project for MS, a charity near to her heart, raising more than $17,000
for the organization.
She has 3 college aged children. She lives with her husband, Steven Triedman,
and dogs Isaac and Larry, in a brick carriage house in Providence's Historic
District.
