Shelter Arcade Bar is a 21+ facility that features arcade cabinets across multiple decades along with Skee-ball and pinball. There is no cover charge and all of the games are free to play. This is a barcade, so grab a beer or cocktail to drink as you mash buttons. Shelter hosts many special events, including a pinball league, live music, and theme nights.

Free Play, is a spacious barcade featuring row upon row of classic games and an extensive bar. There is a cover charge to get in, $10 on Friday and Saturday and $5 every other day, but the name comes from the fact that the games are all free unlimited play. An array of pinball tables offer sights and sounds of many classic cultural icons, while you can also play at the air hockey table, or Skee-ball machines.

R1 Indoor Karting is a magnificent facility full of unique opportunities. The main attraction is the European-style asphalt mega track. Strap on official helmets and gear as you race against friends, lovers, and strangers alike on this large time trial course. The newest attraction is the astonishing Axe Bar where, yes, you get to throw axes at targets. The Axe Bar provides drink and food service, while a professional throwing coach guides you through the process. Built in the 1920s this duckpin bowling alley is a piece of Pawtucket and Rhode Island history. The restored lanes bring forth a lively history that will keep you coming back. Pinsetters build on the landmark atmosphere as they reset the duckpins by hand, and will even cheer you on and keep score. Breaktime Bowl & Bar is located inside Hope Artiste Village, and as the name suggests, has a bar with a wide selection of brews and food options.

The Cafe at Easy Entertaining Inc. is hosting a cooking class on February 9th from 6-7pm to teach participants a few tasty recipes to help make their Valentine’s Day dinner special. Simone’s Cooking Class “Make Your Valentine Dinner!”
Simone’s in Warren is offering a Valentine’s Day cooking class on February 9th from 6:30-9pm. Participants will learn to make a variety of dishes like Baked Oysters with Spinach and Pernod and Sauteed Duck Breast with Tamarind Leeks and Champagne Risotto. The fee is $50 per person and also includes recipes, wine and food tasting. There is limited enrollment, so call 401-247-1200 to reserve a spot.
Brix Restaurant Valentines Weekend

The Duck & Bunny’s Seven Course Valentine’s Day Dinner
The Duck & Bunny is taking reservations for their seven-course Valentine’s Day Dinner. There are two seating times available–at 6/6:30 and 8/8:30. The restaurant is also open at 10pm for dessert with no reservation required. The dinner price is $100 per couple and reservations can be made by calling 401-270-3300. Comedy Factory’s Valentine’s Day at Chelo’s
Chelo’s in Warwick is hosting a Valentine’s Day dinner with entertainment from the Comedy Factory. Dinner starts at 7:30 and the show is at 8:30PM. For tickets, call 401-639-7726. Tickets are $40 per person.

Go Dancing in Red
On February 6th, Common Fence Point Community Hall in Portsmouth is hosting a social ballroom dancing event benefitting the American Heart Association and Go Red For Women.
