The Greater Providence Board of Realtors® (GPBOR) recently announced their 2018 Circle of Sales Excellence Awards, honoring a total of 27 sales associates and teams from Residential Properties Ltd.
The Circle of Sales Excellence Awards were created in order to recognize the annual achievements of GPBOR members based on overall sales volume.
The Platinum Plus Award is reserved for agents who have compiled over $20,000,000 in yearly sales volume. This prestigious award was achieved by a total of four RPL sales associates, including Jim DeRentis, Kevin Fox, Rebecca Mayer, and Gerri Schiffman.
Earning the Platinum Award for recording between $13,000,000-$19,000,000 in sales during 2018 were Providence sales associates Barbara Dacey, Rachael Dotson, Kira Greene, David Hasslinger, Ellen Kasle, and Michael J. Sweeney, as well as the Erkkinen-Cohen Group comprised of Susan Erkkinen and Annalise Cohen.
Totaling $5,000,000-$7,999,999 in sales volume and earning the Silver Award were Celia Almonte, Ashley Baccari, Kevin Darrow, Bethany Johnsen, and Joe Roch, as well as The Morrison Group (Paula Morrison and Greg Morrison) and the Rockwell & Pierard Team (Michelle Rockwell and Kathleen Pierard).

Residential Properties Ltd. is proud to announce that Sales Associate Martha Lapierre has rejoined the company as a member of their Cumberland Office. Martha is a native Rhode Islander who has worked in all areas of the real estate industry for over 25 years. Martha recently sat down with us to discuss her recent return to the Ocean State and reuniting with Residential Properties.
What was it that drew you back to Rhode Island?
First and foremost, it was my family and friends, but it was also all the other people that live here and help to create our unique Rhode Island & New England culture. Being raised in Lincoln and Cumberland, I appreciate the ability to explore our beautiful coastline, hike our hilly woodlands and scenic bike paths, or enjoy some of the best culinary experiences in the country.
After working for other companies, what sets RPL apart and makes it such a unique brokerage?
I’d say the personal interest, caring, and connection of the people who work for RPL is very different. The level of cooperation and consideration between agents elevates your success in the field. It’s great having the ability to reach out to anyone, from the CEO to the COO to the managers and to the wonderful administrators. Immediate attention and response from within is unsurpassed and seldom exists in other agencies. Your success as an agent is their success as a company.
In what ways, if any, did living and working in another state make you a better Realtor?
Creating a new client base and real estate career in another state takes ingenuity, confidence, perseverance and tapping into all the experience you’ve acquired in the field and applying that to a new environment. Starting a career in a new area required me to utilize all the tools and experience I’ve acquired over the years.
What are you excited about most going forward?
After being away for three years and working for a franchise agency, I am thrilled to find that RPL has maintained the highest level of integrity that I remember. I appreciate that the company is a proponent in keeping up and educating its agents in the importance of technology and digital marketing. I am also very excited to rejoin my community and help our friends, neighbors, and new acquaintances achieve their real estate goals.
What are some of your future goals as a member of Residential Properties?
Creating a happy experience while meeting my client’s highest expectations is always my goal.
Do you have any additional comments regarding your recent return, our company, or the real estate industry in general?
I am happy to be back with my RPL family and living in RI with the quality of support, agents and management of Residential Properties Ltd.
