This past week at the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Annual Conference in Las Vegas, Residential Properties Ltd. became the proud recipient of the First Place Award for Best Video Marketing among companies of between 101-500 agents.

Competing against brokerages from nearly 70 countries around the globe, Residential Properties Ltd. was able to distinguish themselves by producing a wide range of videos, including listing tours, community spotlights, company branding pieces, market updates, agent bios, and more. “Our commitment to marketing properties has always been fresh and creative,” explains RPL President & CEO Sally Lapides. “Video differentiates us from our competitors, providing buyers with the experience of a guided tour of a property, while offering sellers an opportunity for far more engaging exposure.”

The RPL Marketing & Technology Department is currently comprised of eight full-time employees, including Videographers Justin Hebert, Peter Amylon, and Neil Guliano, as well as Copywriter Eddy Giorgi, Technology Lead James LeGeros, Computer Support Specialist Tayana Anaya, Photographer Chris Whirlow, and Manager Stephen Readey. Lapides was quick to express her appreciation for the department, saying “I am so proud of our extraordinary team for being recognized as the best in video marketing at the annual conference of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.”

As part of a global network connecting buyers and sellers around the world, RPL’s use of video allows potential clients to research communities and tour available listings from anywhere on the planet. Incorporating video into its marketing, along with professional photography, independent property websites, aerial footage, floor plans, staging, and more, has assisted Residential Properties Ltd. in becoming Rhode Island’s top producing brokerage, recording more sales and more gross volume than any other company in the state for three consecutive years (Providence Business News Book of Lists).

Currently, Residential Properties has nearly 1,500 videos available on its website. To view this extensive video library, please visit ResidentialProperties.com/Videos.

Residential Properties Ltd. recently completed the sale of the historic Henry Sprague House at 100 Prospect Street on the East Side of Providence for $1,431,250. Residential Properties Ltd. represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction, with Markham + DeRentis Associates as the listing team and Kevin Fox as the buyer’s agent.

According to current MLS data, this marks the ninth sale of over $1,000,000 on the East Side of Providence this year, with Residential Properties Ltd. listing seven of those sales, and representing 14 of the 18 transaction sides.

Originally built between 1902 and 1905, 100 Prospect Street is best known for being used as the address of the Ward House in H.P. Lovecraft’s classic 1927 short novel “The Case of Charles Dexter Ward.” This historic two-and-a-half story Colonial Revival features over 7,000 square feet of living space showcasing original millwork and period details both inside and out.

The listing team, Markham + DeRentis Associates is among Rhode Island’s most successful real estate teams, compiling $57,454,122 in overall sales volume last year while also being included on the 2015 Real Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents report.

The selling agent, Kevin Fox, is a multi-million dollar sales associate who has consistently been recognized as a Providence County Top Ten Producer and one of the leading agents on the East Side of Providence for years.
