I would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2017 RPL Summer Photo Contest and helped make it such a success. Thank you to all of our agents who took the time out of their busy schedules to take photos and enter submissions. Thank you to all of our friends on Facebook for reviewing our finalists and casting their votes. And thank you to everyone who shared the contest album with their friends and family. As a result of your participation, this year’s summer photo contest reached over 5,300 people on social media and introduced our page to a wide audience of new followers.

The 2017 RPL Summer Photo Contest featured a collection of five evenly matched finalists. In fact, the top four finalists each finished within less than 25 votes of one another. Despite some other photos jumping out to an early lead, one photo steadily gained votes throughout the weekend and eventually overtook all others to emerge with an even 100 votes. I am pleased to announce that the winner of the 2017 RPL Summer Photo Contest is “Sailboats on the River” taken by RPL Sales Associate Claudia Maiorana. A member of The Friedman Real Estate Group in our Barrington Office, this was Claudia’s first time ever entering the RPL Photo Contest. With her win, Claudia will receive a free website and video package. Congratulations Claudia!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2016 RPL Winter Photo Contest, including all of those who entered submissions, casted votes, or shared the contest with their friends and family.

Living in Rhode Island, we are lucky to experience all four seasons, including wonderful winters when the landscape is blanketed by freshly fallen snow. The goal of our winter photo contest is to capture these images and highlight some of our state’s most iconic locations. Our agent’s responded to this challenge by delivering a diverse collection of contest submissions, which we ultimately narrowed down to our top six finalists.  We then turned to our friends on Facebook who contributed 250+ votes over the course of just one weekend to decide our winning photo.

After a close competition which saw three entries receive over 50 votes, I am proud to announce that the winning shot for the 2016 Winter Photo Contest is Beavertail Coastline by RPL Sales Associate Garret Roberts. Garret’s photo received a total of 80 votes, which was over 20 more than any other submission. Congratulations to Garret who will receive a free video and website package, while also having his photo displayed on the homepage slideshow of ResidentialProperties.com, recently ranked as one of the top 25 real estate websites in the country.

Below are the complete contest results for each of the five finalists.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s RPL Fall Photo Contest such a success. This includes all of those who entered submissions, casted votes, or shared the contest with their friends and family. Thanks to our friends on Facebook, this year’s contest received 62 shares and reached nearly 6,000 people.

Fall is always a special time in New England and our agents did a terrific job capturing the essence of the season with scenic images from throughout our wonderful state. After completing the always difficult task of narrowing our submissions down to a group of five finalists, we asked our friends on Facebook to help decide the winner. Never letting us down, our Facebook friends responded with a total of 233 votes over just five days.

When the dust cleared and the votes were tallied, one photo emerged as the clear victor. I am proud to announce that the winning shot for the 2015 Fall Photo Contest is East Greenwich Harbor by RPL Sales Associate Michelle Snoeren. Michelle’s shot garnered nearly 40% of the vote, receiving a total of 92 “likes.” Congratulations to Michelle who will receive a free video and website package and will also have her photo appear on the homepage slideshow on ResidentialProperties.com, recently ranked as one of the top 25 real estate websites in the country.
