Many of us love to fill our Sundays with football, but sometimes you just need to get out of the house or you are tired of your usual spot and are looking to venture out. Maybe you don’t even watch the game, but want a nice bar or pub to grab a good bite any day of the week. We’ve got you covered with this comprehensive lists of spots all across Rhode Island and even one in Massachusetts. The amount of TVs, quality of food, and local scenery were considered to make this list. Each county was given two spots in order to make sure no matter where you are there is a spot for you. The city of Providence has so many places to explore it got two of its own and an honorable mention. That is where we will start:
CITY OF PROVIDENCE
Located at 133 Douglas Ave on Smith Hill, down the street from the State House, this sports bar features multiple televisions, and plenty of space. You can barely tell this great establishment was a former firehouse built in 1902. There is an outdoor eating area and plenty of off street parking. Ladder 133 offers boxing and MMA viewing, and you can book it for your fantasy football drafts.

While they do have club and DJ events, this bar, located near Wickenden Street at 15 Bridge Street, transforms on Sunday into a great place to watch the game. While most of the football season is in colder weather, in Rhode Island we love a good patio and waterview, even if we have to throw on a hoodie.
