REAL Trends recently released its prestigious 2017 list of America’s Best Real Estate Agents, ranking Residential Properties Ltd. Sales Associates Gerri Schiffman, Kevin Fox, David Hasslinger, and Barbara Stamp, as well as the RPL Sales Teams of Markham & DeRentis Associates and Antrop & Williamson among the most productive and successful names in real estate.

The newly issued ranking report produced by REAL Trends and sponsored by Zillow Group ranks over 12,600 residential real estate professionals solely based on their excellence in real estate sales during calendar year 2016. All production numbers are independently verified by a third-party in order to ensure accuracy and report integrity.

This marks the third consecutive year on the list for Gerri Schiffman, Kevin Fox, and Markham & DeRentis Associates, as well as the second consecutive year for Antrop & Williamson. Among individual agents, Schiffman ranked third in the state for both transaction sides (90) and sales volume ($47,151,750), while Fox was listed fourth in Rhode Island with $45,086,850 in sales volume and fifth in the state with 77 sides. David Hasslinger and Barbara Stamp both cracked the top 10 in Rhode Island for overall sales volume, compiling $28,458,300 and $20,392,800 in sales, respectively. Among teams, Markham & DeRentis Associates (comprised of Jim DeRentis and Nancy Markham) ranked second in the state for sales volume ($67,031,807) and sixth in transaction sides (113), while Antrop & Williamson (comprised of Ryan Antrop, Robert Williamson, Ali L’Heureux, and Ted Bourque) was listed among the top 12 teams in RI with a total of 87 sides.

“This group of highly successful real estate sales agents represents less than 1 percent of all real estate practitioners in the United States,” says Steve Murray, publisher of REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Agents and president of REAL Trends.

 To qualify for inclusion, an individual agent must have closed at least 50 transaction sides or $20 million in sales volume in 2016. For real estate agent teams, the minimum is 75 transaction sides or $30 million in closed sales volume. The individuals ranked in America’s Best Real Estate Agents had an average of 73 transaction sides and an average sales volume of almost $37 million. Teams ranked in America’s Best Real Estate Agents had an average of 144 sides and an average sales volume of almost $61 million. This ensures that only the best of the best are included on the prestigious list.

“The average residential real estate agent in the United States closed 8.6 transactions in 2016 and had less than $1.3 million in sales,” said Murray. “To say that the agents on our list are exceptional sales professionals is an understatement. To attain this level of sales is truly outstanding.”

Residential Properties Ltd. is proud to announce that Sales Associates Kevin Fox and Gerri Schiffman, as well as the Sales Teams of Antrop & Williamson and Markham + DeRentis Associates have each been included on the 2016 Real Trends list of “America’s Best Real Estate Agents.” Sponsored by the Zillow Group, this prestigious list ranks the most productive agents by state and metropolitan area based on closed transaction sides and overall sales volume.

“With today’s release of the 2016 America’s Best Real Estate Agents list, an elite group of real estate agents across the country are receiving well-deserved recognition. For individual sales associates, Gerri Schiffman of RPL’s Providence Office led the way for Residential Properties Ltd., ranking second in the state for sales volume ($50,649,211) as well as third in the state in transaction sides (87). This marks Schiffman’s third consecutive year on the prestigious list. As one of the top individual agents in the state, Gerri earned the 2015 Circle of Excellence Platinum Plus Award and has been a Providence County Top Producer since 1999.

Kevin Fox, also a member of RPL’s Providence Office, appeared on the list for a second straight year after compiling 50 transaction sides and $23,023,900 in sales volume during 2015. Kevin consistently ranks as a Providence County Top 10 Producer and has gained the appreciation of his clients based on his expert knowledge of the local real estate markets, his strategic marketing plans, and his proven ability to negotiate favorable outcomes.

The Sales Team of Markham + DeRentis Associates have appeared on the list during each of its three years of existence. This year, they ranked among the top three sales teams in the state for sales volume ($57,454,122) and among the top five in transaction sides (103). Formed by Jim DeRentis and Nancy Markham, M+D Associates make it their mission to match clients with properties that enhance their lives by offering comprehensive services built on advanced real estate certifications, a trusted network of partners, and specialized knowledge of neighborhoods and cities throughout the area.

The Antrop & Williamson Team from RPL’s Cumberland Office was also included on the list after recording a total of 97 transaction sides during 2015. Composed of Sales Associates Ryan Antrop, Ted Bourque, Ali L’Heureux, and Robert Williamson, the A&W Team have enjoyed immediate success with Residential Properties and continue to be one of the most successful sales teams in the state.
