Every year, visitors flock from neighboring states to come and view the gorgeous landscapes produced by the Fall season in New England. Whether it’s an afternoon of apple picking, hay rides around the pumpkin patch, or scenic drives through the countryside, Autumn in Rhode Island offers a special experience for everyone.
This year, our agents did a terrific job of encapsulating the season with each and every entry that was submitted to our 2018 Fall Photo Contest. Thank you to all of those who took time out of their busy daily schedules to participate. Without the submissions from our agents and the votes from all of our friends on Facebook, this contest would not be possible.
After enjoying the process of looking over all the wonderful photos that were entered into the contest, we were faced with the unenviable task of narrowing the field down to six finalists. From there, we turned things over to our loyal group of followers on Facebook to select their favorite photo and decide our winner.
It is my pleasure to announce that the winner of the 2018 RPL Fall Photo Contest is RPL Barrington Sales Associate, Eddie Rayden with his shot of Bullock’s Cove in Riverside. Eddie’s photo beautifully captured a bevy of swans swimming in the sparkling waters while surrounded by the glowing fall foliage. The photo received a total of 75 votes, finishing 20 votes ahead of the next closest competitor. This was Eddie’s first time entering the contest, and with the win, he will be rewarded with a free property video and website package compliments of the RPL Marketing Department. Congratulations Eddie!

Sales Associate, Lisbeth Herbst of Residential Properties Ltd. recently completed the sale of 43 Sunset Road in Bristol for $1,800,000 – marking the town’s second highest sale this year.
“This is one of the most architecturally thoughtful pieces of modern construction that I have ever seen,” said RPL Barrington Manager, Ian Barnacle. “Every detail was considered and quality was paramount.”
Resting on 1.3 acres overlooking the bay in Bristol Highlands, the home, known as Pen Marc’h, is a custom-designed New England Shingle-style Bungalow designed by local architect David Andreozzi. Built upon a river rock foundation, this beautiful home features custom masonry and millwork both inside and out, including mahogany details, arched rafters, and black walnut floors. The interior highlights include a mahogany library, as well as a breathtaking great room with beadboard ceilings and a gourmet kitchen with soapstone counters. Outside, the property includes a bluestone veranda with a Spanish cedar pergola, and manicured gardens surrounded by fieldstone walls.
The listing agent, Lisbeth Herbst, is a current resident of Bristol and has enjoyed over 20 years of success as a Realtor®. Licensed in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Lisbeth has compiled over $6,000,000 in sales so far this year.
