436Blackstone
On June 21, Residential Properties Ltd. completed the sale of 436 Blackstone Boulevard in Providence for $1,650,000 with Christina Ardente as the listing agent, representing RPL’s Barrington office and Jim DeRentis as the selling agent, representing RPL’s Providence office. According to current MLS data, this marks the ninth East Side single family sale of over $1,000,000 this year, with Residential Properties Ltd. proudly representing 11 of the possible 18 sides.

Known as the J. Richmond Fales House, the home  is located in the Blackstone neighborhood, a large residential area in the northeast corner of Providence’s East Side. The neighborhood is known for the quality of its architecture and its general suburban ambience. The residence was originally built in 1928 by architect Marshall B. Martin for J. Richmond Fales. Fales was a textile-manufacturing executive and was an involved alumnus of Brown University.

The property resides on an expansive 10,018 square foot lot on which a brick Tudor Revival house resides, boasting 2 ½ stories, large casement windows, a stone-framed Tudor-arch entrance, half-timber detailing and massive chimneys. All has been meticulously maintained and updated for modern living, while retaining much of the elegance of Martin’s original design. Michele-Caprio_190x298Residential Properties Ltd. is proud to announce the hiring of Michele Caprio as the Manager of RPL’s East Greenwich office, located at 413 Main Street.

“We are thrilled to welcome Michele to our management team,” says RPL President & CEO Sally Lapides. “Her depth of experience in the field of real estate and management is extraordinary.”

As a lifelong real estate professional with over 27 years of experience as a broker, Caprio brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. Caprio was formerly the CEO of the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors® from 2012-2015 and CEO of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors® from 2015-2017.

“I am honored to be a part of the management team at Residential Properties,” says Caprio. “I am excited to work with a group of seasoned professionals and enthusiastic agents who contribute to the quality of their communities every day.”

When asked about her decision to join the company Caprio explained “Residential Properties has an outstanding reputation for integrity and professionalism. These are the essence of my core values and I believe the alignment of my skills with the opportunities of the position provide a recipe for great success.”

As part of Caprio’s initial agenda, she plans to renovate the current office, while also creating an encouraging environment for her agents. “We are going to be giving the East Greenwich office a ‘fresh look’ – and with that a new perspective on a successful business model. I will challenge our  agents to push their limits while also developing new talent within the office to meet the important needs of our clients. I look forward to identifying and engaging the next generation of successful agents!”

By adding Caprio to its leadership team, RPL is hoping to continue to build off its recent success, leading all Rhode Island real estate companies in both homes sold and overall sales volume during each of the past two years, while also being ranked as one of the most successful real estate companies in the entire country by both Real Trends and RIS Media.

“We’re confident that Michele will be an excellent addition to our company,” says Lapides. “We’re excited to have her with us and look forward to all that she will bring to Residential Properties.”
