As the final days of summer tick away, it makes me truly appreciate the amazing job our agents did capturing the season within all the beautiful images submitted to our photo contest this year. From the beach, to the city, and everywhere in between, I was able to get a glimpse at what summertime in Rhode Island means to each of the Realtors® who participated in this contest.

As always, I’d like thank everyone who took the time and effort into submitting an entry, as well as all of our clients and friends on Facebook who helped us with the difficult task of selecting a winner by casting their votes. Your participation is what makes this contest possible and is the main reason for its success over the past 10 years.

As for the results, we entered the weekend with two finalists battling for the top spot, coming down the final stretch neck-and-neck. Despite a third challenger making a late charge, one photo pulled away to emerge as the clear winner. I am proud to announce RPL Providence Sales Associate Ashley Baccari as our 2019 Summer Photo Contest champion with her gorgeous shot of the Creative Capital’s new pedestrian bridge. Ashley’s photo transports us into the shoes of someone leaning on the railing of the newly constructed bridge while enjoying the view of the iconic Providence skyline as the summer sun begins to set on another day. This stunning shot received a total of 97 votes, which was 42 more votes than the next closest competitor. Congratulations to Ashley on her winning photo. We are proud to present her with the first place prize of a free video and website package from the RPL Marketing & Technology Department.
