Dory Skemp is a full-time real estate agent who works closely with her clients during the largest transactions of their lives to help them make the best possible decision. Dory thrives on the daily challenge to come up with creative and innovative ways to share her years of cumulative knowledge on houses and everything associated with them.
On the surface, Dory’s professional careers in higher education and real estate seem miles apart but, in fact, they have many similarities. They are both completely focused on assisting people to achieve their goals. Set against a backdrop of detailed paperwork, regulations, contracts, and applications, both careers have allowed her to work closely with other professionals and agencies in the field.
Dory’s role today is to assist people and confidently navigate them through the maze of figuring out the answer to the biggest question: “How do I buy or sell my house?”
Dory’s specialties include “Real Estate Sales in Historic Properties”. Having a Bachelor’s in Historic Preservation gives her a special knowledge in the architecture and significance of historic properties while also keeping in mind the realistic needs and responsibilities of owning and living in a 100 to 200-year-old house.
