Ed is manager of the highly-productive office of 41 agents. He is a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, has been practicing real estate since 1989, and has been working out of Residential Properties' Providence Office since 2000. He has experience in all aspects of real estate, including residential, commercial, appraisals and auctions.
Prior to selling real estate, Hardie was a Project Manager for 17 years with Homar, Inc., a Rumford-based residential construction firm. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, and the Greater Providence Board of Realtors, where he served for many years on the Ethics Committee and presently serves on The Standard of Practices Committee.
Hardie has been recognized by the Greater Providence Preservation
Society as an Historic House Specialist and certified in Lead Hazard
and Mitigation. Additionally he served on the Mayor's Lead Paint
Commission.
He is a member of a number of organizations including the Providence
Preservation Society, Save the Bay, the RISD Museum and the Museum of
Art, Boston. He and his wife Kathy enjoy travel, boating, skiing,
hiking, and cooking. He lives in a historic (circa 1850) carriage house
on Providence's East Side.
